Meet Our Founder: Mycah Snyder

Mycah Snyder, a longtime resident of beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho, has always carried a deep compassion for others. Her journey began in the early 1990s, when she grew up in a remote Siberian village on the mission field of Russia. There, she and her family dedicated their lives to serving others—feeding the hungry, clothing those in need, housing the homeless, helping addicts find freedom, and offering healing for emotional, spiritual, and physical brokenness through prayer. During those years, they witnessed many miracles of provision, healing, and restoration.

At 20 years old, Mycah married and went on to raise three wonderful children. After 15 years, however, she was faced with the painful reality of leaving her marriage for her own safety—a decision she never imagined making, as she had always believed divorce was not an option in Christian marriages. In the midst of that season, she battled suicidal depression and endured a crippling nervous breakdown, which led to a diagnosis of bi-polar 2 disorder. It took more than a year to overcome the breakdown and many more after that to learn to successfully manage emotions and mental health challenges.

Yet even in her darkest moments, this breaking point became the beginning of her own journey of inner healing.

In 2014, newly divorced and deeply broken, Mycah began attending a small trauma recovery group for women. Through the love and support of that group, along with the unconditional care of a local church, Harvest Valley Worship Center, she slowly began to heal and rediscover hope. Years earlier, in a desperate season of anxiety, she had cried out to the Lord for help. In response, God gave her a vision of a crossroads and promised that if she trusted Him through the darkness, He would one day lead her out—and teach her how to guide others into the light as well.

That promise became an anchor she clung to through many storms.

In 2016–2017, Mycah completed Elijah House Prayer Ministry Schools 101 and 102, becoming a certified prayer minister of inner healing. This training played a key role in helping her process and heal from childhood sexual abuse, ascweell as from abuse that happened in her marriage. It equipped her to lead a women’s trauma recovery group modeled after the one that had been so pivotal in her own journey.

Over the past 11 years, Mycah has continued to grow both personally and professionally in the work of inner healing. She has studied a wide range of methods—including Elijah House, Sozo, The Emmanuel Way, Prophetic Heart Healing, and more—and has invested countless hours in both personal healing and study. She has facilitated approximately 250+ hours of trauma recovery groups with around 40 women, and has led more than 100 inner healing sessions, totaling 500+ hours of ministry.

In recent years, Mycah has also worked to build a team of Holy Spirit-led inner healers at Harvest Valley Worship Center, which gave birth to the ministry now known as Healed Healers. In addition, she serves on the Core Team Pastor’s Council at her church, and personally mentors individuals and couples through life's challenges.

Today, Mycah is joyfully remarried. She and her husband, Kevin Snyder recently celebrated their eighth anniversary. They thoroughly enjoy doing life and ministry together. Reflecting on her journey, Mycah says:

“It’s so rewarding to have come full circle. God has truly made something beautiful from the ashes of my pain and grief. He fulfilled His promise to bring me through the darkness so that I could help others find their way into the light.”
